BACK IN THE USA

Laura returns to perform in New York in February 2025, but not only.

After the experience of October 2024 that saw her involved in Opera singing Masterclasses and concerts in California in the Auditoriums of the Colleges of the cities of Fresno and Coalinga, in Connecticut in the concert hall of the Museum of American Art in New Britain and in New York in the prestigious Weill Hall of Carnegie Hall, for Laura it is time to return to America for two concerts, one in Hartford in Connecticut and the other as winner of the Rotberg Prize in New York.
The program in Connecticut includes the aria Mein Gläubiges Herze from the Cantata BWV 68 by J. S, Bach and Hymn: Hear my prayer MWV B 49 by F. Mendelssohn with the violinists Adrian Sylveen and Brunilda Myfftaraj, the cellist Sanga Yoon and the organist Giacomo Benedetti.
In New York, Laura will perform an atonal piece by Eric Salzman, an award-winning avant-garde and postmodern composer, considered the founder of the New Music Theater. The piece is titled On the Beach at Night, with lyrics by W. Whitman, and Laura will be accompanied by pianist Amir Farid.

The project is promoted by the Marshal Opera Oral History Project with the aim of preserving and making known contemporary American composers who have distinguished themselves, to future generations.
